Elegimos a qu\u00e9 nos queremos dedicar, c\u00f3mo tratamos a los dem\u00e1s, en qu\u00e9 invertimos nuestro tiempo, qu\u00e9 actitud queremos tener ante la vida, etc. No s\u00e9 si existe la casualidad o si estamos predestinados, cada uno que piense lo que quiera. Yo me inclino a pensar que las decisiones que tomamos a lo largo de nuestra vida en virtud de nuestra libertad (si es que somos realmente libres, aunque eso llevar\u00eda a otro debate filos\u00f3fico) nos llevan a donde queremos llegar, de un modo u otro. Elegimos en gran parte c\u00f3mo queremos vivir y, por cuestiones filogen\u00e9ticas, nos quedamos con aquello que nos hace bien y nos ayuda a sobrevivir.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Hoy quiero compartir con vosotrxs algo que a mi me hace sentir bien, con la intenci\u00f3n de que os pueda servir tambi\u00e9n en lo personal.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ese algo tiene que ver con el Mindfulness.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Para aquellos que no lo conozcan, <strong><b>\u00bfqu\u00e9 es el Mindfulness?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En palabras de la persona que lo introdujo en el mundo occidental, Jon Kabat-Zinn, \u201cel Mindfulness es prestar atenci\u00f3n de manera intencional al momento presente, desde una actitud de aceptaci\u00f3n, curiosidad y no juicio\u201d. En definitiva, significa vivir en el aqu\u00ed y el ahora, dirigir nuestra atenci\u00f3n de forma intencional, serena y neutral hacia el presente, ya que es lo \u00fanico que tenemos.<\/p>\n<p>El Mindfulness procede de las t\u00e9cnicas de meditaci\u00f3n orientales, que son pr\u00e1cticas habituales dentro del budismo. Pero hoy en d\u00eda, en la sociedad occidental, se ha desvinculado de cualquier tipo de religi\u00f3n y no es nada esot\u00e9rico.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando practicamos Mindfulness lo que hacemos es cultivar, adiestrar y redirigir nuestra atenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo, a nivel te\u00f3rico queda claro, pero <strong><b>\u00bfen qu\u00e9 nos puede ayudar el Mindfulness?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nos ayuda a realizar una mejor autorregulaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n emocional. Por ejemplo, nos ayuda a no vivir en el pasado, ya que ello nos ancla en algo que ya sucedi\u00f3 y nos produce sentimientos depresivos, culpa, a\u00f1oranza&#8230; Y tambi\u00e9n nos ayuda a no ponernos ansiosos y pasarnos de vueltas pensando constantemente en el futuro, que es incierto, y por m\u00e1s que nos preocupemos o lo planifiquemos es poco probable que se materialice tal cual lo hemos proyectado.<\/p>\n<p>Otra ventaja a\u00f1adida es que nos ayuda a ver que nuestros pensamientos no son hechos ni se corresponden con la realidad. Gracias al Mindfulness aprendemos a des-identificarnos de aquello que pensamos y nos hace da\u00f1o. Cuando practicamos la atenci\u00f3n plena, cambiamos las relaciones que establecemos con nuestros pensamientos, sentimientos y sensaciones f\u00edsicas que nos producen malestar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, en terapia el Mindfulness lleva a\u00f1os aplic\u00e1ndose con resultados eficaces en multitud de problem\u00e1ticas. Se emplea para intervenir psicol\u00f3gicamente en trastornos depresivos, ansiosos, alimentarios, en reducci\u00f3n del estr\u00e9s, adicciones, en el trastorno de personalidad l\u00edmite, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pero adem\u00e1s de estas aplicaciones, el Mindfulness <strong><b>es una actitud ante la vida que todxs podemos poner en pr\u00e1ctica<\/b><\/strong>. Nos ayudar\u00e1 a afrontar situaciones cotidianas complicadas, regular nuestras emociones, tolerar la incertidumbre, mejorar nuestras relaciones interpersonales, rebajar el perfeccionismo, tratarnos de forma m\u00e1s amable, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Todo lo que acabo de comentar es una introducci\u00f3n muy resumida de lo que es el Mindfulness y lo que se puede conseguir practic\u00e1ndolo diariamente. No es necesario que inviertas gran cantidad de tiempo al d\u00eda, al principio es suficiente con que medites 5-10 minutos diarios. En Mindfulness no hay exigencias ni se busca el logro.
